This little piece of plastic works great! It really should come with the unit when purchased though, and the topo maps should also. I went over the bars while in South Dakota but the GPS stayed attached just like it should. A good piece for sure!

If you have the Garmin GPS 60 and a bike, you should get one of these things. You already know all the benefits of the Garmin and this mount makes the ride even that more enjoyable.
The mount stays steady on the handlebars once it is mounted and the attachment that links to the mount is easy to use. Even with my fat fingers it comes off.

I am road biker, never go off road. I purchased the mount and was happy at first since it was easy to attach and adjust. It went well for a few rides and then suddenly after a hard, but still normal, bump, the upper bracket just broke off, causing my GPS to slide violently over the tarmac. The plastic seems to be very cheap stuff, not at all rugged. Because of the lack of alternatives I purchased the mount again, this time I stabilized it with rubber and tape. This mount comes with a handlebar mount designed for handlebars 1" (or less) in diameter. I have 3 bikes in my stable and the only one with handlebars this small is a 1950 Schwinn!
You will have to purchase the optional large diameter rail mount from Garmin to fit this on a road bike.
